Jefferson County Fire Departmemts will be hosting a Firefighter Benefit for Woodlawn Fire Chief Bill Shega. Chief Shega has served Woodlawn Fire District for over 30 years, 12 of those years as Chief. Sadly Chief Shega has been diagnosed with cancer again. Dr. Andy Hall preschool will host a free screening clinic for children from birth to five years old. The screenings will take place on Friday, February 21st, 2025. The clinic includes checks of infant and toddler language development, motor coordination, and social skills. Preschool-aged children are also screened for pre-academic skills, vision, and hearing. Screening appointments can be made by calling Dr. Andy Hall Preschool at 244-8087.
