Mount Vernon, Ill.—The Jefferson County Farm Bureau is hosting an all you can eat pancake breakfast to benefit Ag in the Classroom on Saturday, February 18th from 7 to 11 a.m. at the Rolland Lewis Building at Veteran’s Park in Mount Vernon.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Price includes all you can eat pancakes, sausage, and choice of milk, orange juice, or coffee. Carry-outs will be available.
Proceeds will benefit the Jefferson County Ag in the Classroom (AITC) program. AITC Coordinator Lucille Smith visits 4th grade classrooms in Jefferson County to teach hands-on lessons about the importance of agriculture and where our food comes from. Our program is dependent on a grant from Illinois Farm Bureau and donations from our members and fundraising efforts.
