MT. VERNON, IL — Crossroads Community Hospital has announced they are hosting their first virtual job fair for nurses on August 17 from Noon to 1:30 p.m. online using Microsoft Teams.
“Crossroads Community Hospital is excited to host its first virtual job fair. This free event is for those in the nursing field looking to make a change,” says Human Resources Director Alta Welker. We have tried to make it as convenient as possible by hosting it over lunch. It will allow applicants to learn about Crossroads and the job opportunities available, ask questions, and even get into a one-on-one conversation with nursing leaders and human resources – all while on their lunch break with their cell phone.”
Crossroads Community Hospital has around 15 nursing opportunities available as CNAs, RNs, Supervisors, and Managers – full- and part-time positions available.
“With a virtual job fair, we want to offer attendees a unique experience to interact with our team,” says Desiree Stumpf, Chief Nursing Officer at Crossroads Community Hospital. “We have some unique opportunities for nurses seeking leadership roles. The virtual job fair will be a great way to learn how our organization is growing.”
Crossroads Community Hospital is encouraging anyone interested in the virtual job fair to find more information on the Crossroads Community Hospital Facebook Event Page, which will include the link for the virtual job fair. It is also recommended to download the Microsoft Teams App from your phone’s app store beforehand to make it easy to get into the virtual event.
“We hope to offer more virtual job fairs in the future that will include non-clinical positions,” says Welker.
