Patty Sue Mount, age 70 of Kell, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at her home.

Patty was born on September 11, 1954 in Centralia, Illinois, the daughter of Harry and Bernice Pauline (Westermeyer) Hongsermeier. She married Terry J. Mount on December 22, 1973 in Hoyleton, Illinois and together they spent 51 years united in marriage.

Survivors include her children, Becky Arndt and husband Tim of Front Royal, VA, Jeremy Wade Mount of Waltonville, IL; a sister, Judy Hongsermeier; grandchildren, Brody and wife Alex, Kirsten and significant other Cohle, Paige, Sydney, Dillon, Ryder John, and Vedder Acey; and brother and sister in-laws, Mike and Kathy Mount, Pamela and Perry DeBernardi, Keith and Brenda Mount, Jeff Mount, and Rhonda and Steve Garland.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Nancy Fletcher, and a brother, Gary Hongsermeier.

Patty worked for many years at N.A.L. in Salem as a team leader and material handler. She loved her Jack Russell Terrier, “Jack”.
