SALEM, IL — A small fire broke out Tuesday morning at Americana in the Salem Westside Industrial Park, but was quickly contained to a dust collector. It’s believed that a malfunctioning motor bearing caused a spark that ignited the filter. Employees used fire extinguishers until help arrived. No injuries were reported.
