MOUNT VERNON — Diana Louise Hubler, 73, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 5:16 pm March 9, 2024 at her daughter’s residence in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born September 30, 1950 in Sikeston, Missouri to the late Gerald Lonzo and Geraldine Frankie (Vandever) Snider.

Diana is survived by her son, David Hubler and wife, Elizabeth of Bentonville, Arkansas; daughter, Kathleen Hubler of Mount Vernon, Illinois; grandchildren, David Hubler, Jr. and girlfriend, Skylar Patterson of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Ashley Hubler of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Marlene Laslie of Mount Vernon, Illinois; great-granddaughters, Emerald and Noel Patterson; several Godchildren survive; brother, Gerald Snider and wife, Rena of Chicago, Illinois; several nieces and nephews, former spouse, Bill Hubler and wife, Cathy of Toronto, Canada; close friends, Marion “Mo” Battle and husband, Michael of Mount Vernon, Cheryl Albarran and husband, Julian of Midlothian, Illinois, and Dennis Truse in Winterhaven, Florida; and her loving dog, Sasha.

In addition to her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Julissa Laslie; grandson, Marcus Laslie; and brothers, Carl and Charles Croft.

Diana was of the Catholic Faith. She was a very loving and giving person and her friend, Mo called her honey. Diana was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Newell Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm.
