CENTRALIA — The Centralia High School Alumni Association has successfully raised enough money to complete a project with huge sentimental value to Orphans everywhere.
It was revealed at Monday night’s school board meeting that nearly $70,000 has been raised to clean, repair, and relocate the stained glass windows from the Trout Gymnasium at the old Centralia High School to the new Trout Arena.
The installation of the windows in their new home probably won’t be done until after commencement. But when they’re in place, they’ll be proudly housed at the south end of Trout Arena.
Fundraising for the project started last December and is ongoing as the final cost for the project and its ultimate lighting isn’t yet clear.
You may send donations on behalf of your graduating class, as a family, individually, or in honor/memory of someone. The Centralia High School Alumni Association is a 501c3 organization and your donation is tax deductible.
