ST. LOUIS, Mo. — A 34-year-old Salem man was killed in a crash last week with a semi-truck in St. Louis.

According to St. Louis Metro police, Brant Renfro was driving a car at a high rate of speed on South Second when he ran a stop sign and struck a semi-truck.

Both Renfro and the 62-year-old driver of the semi were transported to an area hospital for treatment. But Renfro succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
