CENTRALIA — John Edmonson, II, 58, of Centralia, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024, at his home.

He was born November 30, 1965 in Centralia, the son of Ronald “Ron” E. Edmonson and Jane (Fehrmann) Edmonson. He married Loretta Schubert on July 7, 1990 and they later divorced.

In addition to his mother, Jane Edmonson of Centralia, John is also survived by his daughter: Ariel Moon and husband Dustin of Washington; two sisters: Rondi Edmonson of New York and Jana Musial and husband Joe of Centralia; one nephew and three nieces: Anna Bates and husband Doug of New York, Michael Carr of New York, Tiffani Musial of St. Louis, Missouri, and Ashton Musial of Wyoming; a great-nephew: Morgan Bates of New York; an uncle: Duane Niekrenz of Centralia; and several friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald”Ron” Edmonson and a niece: Carrie Kavanaugh.

John served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He worked for Graphic Packaging for 17 plus years.

John had cherished memories of going to Shawnee National Park and camping with his family and friends. He enjoyed listening to music and he was an avid Cheap Trick Fan.
Most of all, John loved his family, friends and his four legged black cat: Cemetery.’

Per John’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
