WASHINGTON COUNTY — Washington County officials have happily announced that after months of work following destructive storms in June of this year, they’ve been informed the Small Business Administration will be helping.
According to the Washington County Emergency Services Agency, the SBA acted under the Disaster Assistance for Rural Communities Act, to declare a disaster in response to a request from Gov. JB Pritzker.
Starting today, customer service representatives will be available at the Disaster Loan Outreach Center to answer questions about the SBA’s disaster loan program, explain the application process and help individuals complete their application.
The Center will be hosted by Nashville Public Library, located at 219 E Elm St Nashville IL. Hours will be Monday-Friday from 11 am to 6 pm. and Saturday 10 am-2 pm.
The SBA will be in Washington County IL to provide assistance, for a very limited time. The Recovery Center will only remain active until Friday, November 17. 2023.
