CHRISTOPHER, Ill. — A male juvenile was struck by gunfire early Thursday morning in Christopher.
According to Illinois State Police, ISP Division of Criminal Investigations Zone 7 agents were requested by the Christopher Police Department to investigate a shooting in the 300 block of South Snider Street in Christopher at 12:40 Thursday morning.
The male juvenile was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries he received from the gunfire.
ISP says this was an isolated incident. The investigation is active and ongoing. No additional information will be released at this time.
