Carol was a teacher for 31 years at Bluford Grade School. She was a faithful member of Summesville Missionary Baptist Church, where she volunteered as a Sunday school teacher and VBS worker. Carol read Isaiah 53:5-6 almost daily as a reminder of what a gloriously, loving thing our Saviour did when he died on the cross.
“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us had turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” – Isaiah 53:5-6″I have loved you with an everlasting love.” – Jeremiah 31:3
