CENTRALIA — Janet K. Dillingham, 82, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away at 9:00 am June 24, 2023, at 9:00 A.M. at her residence. Janet was born on July 1, 1940, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to the late Gilbert and Lucille (McIntosh) Harlow. Janet married Harry Dillingham on December 24, 1960, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois and he survives.

In addition to her beloved husband of nearly sixty-three years, Janet is survived by her son, Stephen Dillingham and wife Terry of Iuka, Illinois; daughter, Susan Morris and husband Shawn of Centralia, Illinois; brother, Don Harlow and wife Linda of Round Rock, Texas; sister, Marilyn McBride of Dix, Illinois; grandchildren, Hannah, Shawn, Alyssa and Matthew; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Janet was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother which they affectionately called her “MeMa”. She enjoyed reading and cooking. She will dearly be missed by all who loved her.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. Interment will follow.  Memorials may be made in Janet’s honor to the charity of the donor’s choice.
