JEFFERSON COUNTY — A 31-year-old Mt. Vernon man pleaded guilty Tuesday in Jefferson County Court to a felony charge accusing him of possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.
Kegan Graham was arrested last October as part of an operation involving the Mt. Vernon Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, and the US Marshall’s Task Force.
During a search of 517 South 22nd detectives located a large quantity of methamphetamine, cannabis, controlled substances, currency, and drug equipment.
Graham was arrested and ultimately charged with Class X felony delivery of meth.
Graham was one of nine others arrested as part of the operation that day. He was sentenced Tuesday to 13 years in prison in exchange for his guilty plea.
