BELVIDERE, Ill. — Rodney Lew Wilkins, 68 of Belvidere, Illinois and formerly of Iuka, Illinois passed away June 4, 2023, at the Swedish American Hospital in Belvidere.

Born May 6, 1955, in Salem, Illinois, he was the son of Lew Daniel and Lola Lorraine (Hinkle) Wilkins and they preceded him in death.

The family invites you to gather with them at 11:00 am Thursday, June 22, 2023 for a graveside service at the Iuka Cemetery. Sutherland – Rankin Funeral Home, 310 N. Broadway, P.O. Box 97, Salem, IL 62881 (618) 548-1234, is entrusted with the family’s care. Scott McKenzie will officiate.

Rodney was a laborer working on drilling rigs.

Survivors include his brother Bruce Wilkins and wife Barbara of Iuka, IL.
