BONNIE, Ill. — Betty J. Adams, 75, of Bonnie, passed away Wednesday afternoon May 17, 2023, in Mt. Vernon.

Betty was born in Centralia, IL on February 1, 1948, the daughter of Robert & Vivian (McFarland) Ferguson. She married Harry D. Adams on January 22, 1988, and he preceded her in death on December 14, 2018.

Mrs. Adams was a member of the Bonnie Church of God. She enjoyed traveling & reading. She loved her family very much.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her grandchildren Felicia Johnson & husband Jeremy of Benton, Dakota Savage & wife Amber of Mt. Vernon, Lucas Savage of Mt. Vernon, Alahana Savage of Connecticut, John Adams of Georgia, and Tyler Adams of Georgia; three step-sons Harry Donald Adams, Jr. of Georgia, Mark Adams of Ina, and Michael Dwayne Adams & wife Lucy of Georgia; great-grandchildren Isabella Rose, Elliott, Autumn Jade, and Alden, Ronnie & Linkin; sister Judy Owens of Bonnie; and brother Bobby Ferguson of Bonnie.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Keith Savage and two sisters Kathy King & Joyce McCarthy.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20th at the Bonnie Church of God with Pastor Micah Arcuri & Pastor Jack Gatson officiating. Burial will be in the Kirk Cemetery in Ina.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 19th at the Bonnie Church of God.
