Ella Elaine Marlow, 71, of Belle Rive, died Friday, February 17, 2023 at 6:22 pm at her home. She was born December 26, 1951 in Litchfield, Illinois, the daughter of Francis and Ella E. Genta.

She married Rod Marlow on November 20, 1970 in Nason, Illinois. She is survived by her son, Shaphan (wife, Amy) Marlow of Grand Rapids, Michigan; daughter, Tabitha (husband, Bryan) of Buffalo, Illinois; two grandchildren, Brandon Sneeden and Laina (husband, Dillon) Miller; brother, Robert (wife, Cheryl) of Fairview Heights, Illinois; and sister, Loretta (husband, Lance) Thackery of Belle Rive, Illinois.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Brad (Sharon) Genta; and sister, Ila (Mark) White.

Elaine worked side by side with Rod in the ministry of the Christian Church for fifty-two years.

Per her request, Elaine will be cremated. A Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Enfield Christian Church in Enfield, Illinois. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 am. A Visitation will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Woodlawn Christian Church in Woodlawn, Illinois. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 am. Memorials may be made in Ella’s honor to Enfield Christian Church or Esophageal Cancer Action Network.
