CLAY COUNTY The $125,000 cash bond for a 52-year-old man accused of removing his court-order GPS ankle monitor has been revoked and law enforcement is asking the public for help locating him.
According to Clay County Sheriff Andy Myers, the Clay County State’s Attorney’s Office has filed a Motion to Revoke Bond in the cases of Phillip Blaine Henson.
Henson’s bond was previously set in Clay County Court at $1.25 million dollars on March 18, 2022, which required Henson to post $125,000 cash to bond out of jail.
He’s charged with Unlawful Deliveries of Methamphetamine, a Class X Felony and Class 1 Felony, and Drug-Induced Homicide, also a Class X Felony.
Special conditions of his bond included wearing a GPS monitor at all times. The Motion to Revoke Bond alleges that Henson removed his GPS monitor without permission and his whereabouts are unknown. On October 31, 2022, an Arrest Warrant was issued for Henson.
Henson had been recently living and working in or around the McLeansboro, Illinois area.
Anyone with any information of the whereabouts of Henson is asked to submit that information by texting XCRIME to tip411 or by using the XCRIME app or Sheriff’s App on your smartphone to remain anonymous or contact the Clay County Sheriff’s Office at 618-665-3316.
