SALEM — Salem police were busy Wednesday night investigating multiple reports of shots fired in locations across town and of a possible threat in the Industrial Park.
The initial report of a possible threat in the Industrial Park came in around 5:30 p.m. with the police alerting area businesses to follow their lockdown policies.
Officers responded to the area and began their investigation into the report. A short time later, reports started rolling in of shots fired at multiple locations in Salem.
Following investigations into both the possible threat and shots fired calls; police concluded the reports were unfounded. They notified area businesses that they could release their lockdowns.
