SALEM — Linda Henry, of Salem, Illinois, passed away suddenly on the morning of Wednesday, October 5, 2022.
Linda was the proud mother of Ross and Robin Henry. She considered Kendra Tucker Henry her daughter as well.
Linda’s grandchildren Trevas, Riece, Sophia and Grace were the light of her life. She enjoyed watching them grow, spoiling them with presents and showering them with a whole lot of grandma’s love. Linda loved her brother Terry and his wife Tina and their family. There was never a dull minute when they were together as smiles were constant and the sound of laughter always filled the air. Linda enjoyed spending time with her best friends (and cousin) Charles and Michelle Slater. The highlight to Linda’s week was the Friday night dinners they shared. Linda was friendly to all, she knew no stranger. She always had the coffee brewing and a story to tell. Everyone was welcome in her home.
To honor our mother we would like to invite all family and friends to her home this Saturday, October 8. We will celebrate her life and all the joy she brought to each of us. You’re welcome to bring a side dish or your favorite dessert. And just like mom would have done; we will have the coffee brewing and a story to tell. No need to R.S.V.P. Just swing on by anytime after 9:00 am at 600 East Bennett, Salem, IL.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband Earl Henry, mother Winifred Rogers Huff, father Robert Huff, and her brother David Huff.
The family and friends Linda leaves behind is endless. She took a piece of our hearts when she left this earth. Our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend will be greatly missed. We love you, we miss you and we’ll be seeing you.
