CENTRALIA — James “Jim” Thomas LeBeau, 75, of Centralia, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022, at his home.

He was born March 7, 1947, in Chicago, the son of Willis J. LeBeau and Helen (Hass) LeBeau. He married Karen Kirsch on April 21, 2003, in Kentucky and she survives.
In addition to his mother: Helen LeBeau of Centralia and his wife of 19 years, Karen LeBeau of Centralia, he is also survived by his four daughters: Chrissy Parolin and husband Edward of Boston, Stacie Gibson of South Carolina, Holly LeBeau of Boston, and Sandy LeBeau of Centralia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers: Bill LeBeau and wife Sheila and Pat LeBeau and wife Joanie; two sisters: Renee Maxey and Celeste LeBeau; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father: Willis J. LeBeau, a sister, and a brother.

Jim served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Beelman Trucking for 15-plus years and later retired. Jim was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Centralia. He was also a member of the Centralia American Legion Post 446, where he loved and served on the Funeral Detail.
Jim enjoyed watching the news, remodeling houses, and doing yard work. He cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home with Monsignor David Darin officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2022, until the time of service at the funeral home. Military Honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the Centralia American Legion Post 446 and the Centralia V.F.W. Post 2055.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Centralia American Legion Post 446 and the Centralia Humane Society and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, who is honored to be of service to the LeBeau family.
