MARION COUNTY — A 22-year-old Centralia man pleaded guilty Tuesday in Marion County Court to the April robbery of a man in Foundation Park and was sentenced to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Dylan Foutch was arrested in April and charged with Class 1 felony armed robbery of a handicapped or elderly person and Class 2 robbery. Foutch pleaded guilty Tuesday to the Class 2 charge in exchange for the Class 1 felony charge being dismissed. According to Centralia Police, they received a report that Jeffrey Barton allegedly received a ride from Foutch and 30-year-old Stacey Myers to an ATM before they took him to Foundation Park where they robbed him at gunpoint. Foutch was sentenced last year to seven years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a charge of Class 2 felony robbery, which was reduced from a Class X felony charge of armed robbery, as well as on 2020 charges of possession of meth. All four sentences will be served concurrently.
