CENTRALIA — Sandra Eldridge, 69, of Centralia, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Il.

Sandra was born June 22, 1953, in Belleville, the daughter of Everett and Beulah (Brown) Mixon. Sandra married William “Bill” Eldridge in 2001 in Cahokia, Illinois and he preceded her in death in 2015.

Sandra is survived by one son: Scott Marhanka and wife Kelly of Odin; two grandchildren: Abenny Brown of Nashville, TN and Nicholi Marhanka of Odin; also surviving is special friends in Cahokia and Centralia; and nephews; Brian Mixon and Greg Mixon.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents: Everett and Beulah Mixon; husband: Bill Eldridge; one sister: Shirley Mixon; and two brothers: David Mixon and Otis Mixon.
Sandra’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Sandra Eldridge will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2022, at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. A private family burial will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to the time of service on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at the funeral home.
