CLINTON COUNTY, IL — Bond has been set at $50,000 for a 27-year-old Shattuc man charged in Clinton County Court with multiple drug offenses.

Adam Halstead is charged with Class 1 felony possession of between 1 and 15 grams of heroin and two Class 4 felonies for possession of a controlled substance.

Judge Christopher Matoush advised Halstead this week that a monetary bond was necessary given the charges and set the amount at $50,000 or 10% cash.

Judge Matoush also prohibited Halstead not using drugs or alcohol with random testing and prohibited him from operating any motor vehicles.

A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for June 29 with a first appearance with a court appointed attorney.
