(BENTON, IL) — Three men are set to appear today in Franklin County Court on charges relating to an alleged robbery at a West Frankfort home Friday. According to a report from WSIL-TV, court records show Dustin Mandrell, Devon Mandrell and Richard Savage broke into Jessie Bennett Junior’s home, robbed the disabled man at knife point and pushed him out of his wheelchair. They are accused of taking his wallet, car keys and cell phone. The three men face several charges including home invasion, robbery and aggravated assault. The report went on to say that no one at the West Frankfort Police Department or the Franklin County State’s Attorney’s office could discuss the case. Dustin Mandrell has a history with law enforcement as he was charged with involuntary manslaughter for the beating death of Scott Maceri in Christopher in 2014. He was sentenced to three years for that crime, but only served half of his time as he was let out on parole in September of last year. He later returned to prison for violating his parole. All three men are lodged in the Franklin County Jail on $250,000 bond.
