WEST FRANKFORT, IL — An armed robbery is under investigation in West Frankfort
West Frankfort Police Chief John Prudent says shortly after 9 Thursday morning, police received a report of an armed robbery at Pup’s 212 Bar and Grill on East Main Street.
Employees told police that a white man armed with a handgun took an undisclosed amount of money and fled from the business westbound through the alley. Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services was requested to process the scene.
Deputies from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office also responded to assist with the investigation.
