CENTRALIA, IL — Centralia police are investigating a weekend burglary at a store in the Fairview Shopping Center on the city’s west side.
According to police, the burglary at the T-Mobile store was discovered when employees were opening for the day late Sunday morning. Display phones and tablets were reportedly stolen after entry into the store was made sometime Saturday night by cutting a hole in the ceiling. The business’ alarm was apparently not programmed at the time to contact the police department. That has now been changed.
Centralia Police called in the State Police Department of Criminal Investigation to assist in the investigation.
