CENTRALIA, IL — A 26-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to eight years in prison on a 2019 drug charge after entering into a plea agreement this week in Marion County Court. Landon Bone pleaded guilty Tuesday to one Class 2 felony count for possession of five to 15 grams of methamphetamine.
As part of the plea, charges in two separate 2021 cases were dismissed. Those cases charged him with two counts possession of a controlled substance and one count possession of a hypodermic syringe. In addition to the eight-year prison sentence, Bone will have to serve two years mandatory supervised release at the completion of his prison term. He was given credit for 200 days served in the Marion County Jail.
He’s still facing charges in Clinton County of two counts possession of a controlled substance, possession of less than 5-grams of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic syringe.
Bone is scheduled to appear in court May 12 on those charges.
