CARMI, IL — Carmi Police made a warrant arrest Tuesday afternoon. According to a Carmi Police report, officers received a 911 call from a woman who had entered a home without permission in the 1100 block of Sycamore Street and requested assistance as the woman was not making sense.

Officers arrived and located 26-year-old Lashayna L. Simunich who officers knew to have two White County warrants. One warrant was for failure to appear for retail theft with a $500 cash bond. The other warrant was for criminal trespass to a residence and battery with a $1,500 cash bond. Simunich was placed under arrest and taken to the White County Jail.

In addition to the warrants, Simunich was charged with resisting peace officers.
