CENTRALIA, IL — An early Thursday morning police raid in Centralia resulted in the arrests of three people on drug-related charges. According to Centralia Police Chief Greg Dodson, at approximately 6:58a.m., the Centralia Police Department High Risk Entry and Arrest Team, assisted by members of the ILEAS region 9 and 11 team successfully executed a search warrant in the 200 Block of Johnson Street. Dodson says that as part of an ongoing operation, the residence on Johnson Street had been identified as a location where controlled substances were being sold.

Investigators with the CPD then reportedly conducted controlled buys over the past several weeks on 50-year-old Danny G. White Jr. who lives at the Johnson Street address. During the search, 47-year-old Justin M. Brake of Centralia was also taken into custody and found in possession of a controlled substance. Two other subjects, 27-year-old Destrian M. Brake and White were both charged with Possession of a Controlled substance. White was processed and the reports on the controlled buys were forwarded to the Marion County State’s Attorney where White faces multiple counts of Delivery of a Controlled substance.
