Mildred K. Sexton, 88, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 7:47 am December 2, 2020 at her home. She was born December 31, 1931 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Alonzo Kiser and Evalyn (Cook) Kiser. Mildred was married to James Edward Sexton and he preceded her in death on January 14, 2019.

A Private Funeral Service will be held. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Mildred’s honor to the Logan Street Baptist Church Building Fund.
