Barbara Ann Hayes, 74, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 2:20 pm September 1, 2020 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born October 4, 1945 in Mount Vernon to the late Earl and Eunice (Bethel) Swader. Barbara married Tom Hayes on October 4, 1961 in Mount Vernon. They were blessed with nearly 59 years of marriage.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Hopewell Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Don Rector officiating. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made in Barbara’s honor to Hopewell Cemetery.
