ODIN — Odin Schools on Tuesday alerted parents and caregivers that they would start remote learning on Wednesday, for the next 14 days.
There will be no in person learning at Odin Public Schools until Wednesday, September 9.
If your student was in close contact with an individual testing positive for COVID-19, the Marion County Health Department will be in contact with you within the next 24 hours with further details and instructions.
Irvington Grade School parents and caregivers received letters Tuesday, informing them that a staff member at the school has been notified as being a close contact to an individual who tested positive for COVID-19.
Superintendent David Schultz said in the letter that the staff member is currently awaiting test results.
Schulte said the school is following guidance in place by the Centers for Disease and Control Prevention and state and local health departments. He added in the letter that updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
