HARRISBURG — The Harrisburg City Council did not move forward with a tuck pointing project on Harrisburg City Hall.
Harrisburg mayor John McPeek says all of the bids came in over what the city wanted to spend.
The council also voted to go forward with the new VOIP phone system and to start the process of setting up a system to pay water bills online. McPeek says that will take a few months to get together and become fully operational.
The city also continues to look at how they can expand the city cemetery as it is approaching capacity. They are looking at ways to acquire land for the cemetery.
The council also approved the appointment of Kenny Mayhall as the new Street, Alley, and Public Property Superintendent.
The next scheduled Harrisburg City Council meeting is set for September 3rd at Harrisburg City Hall.
