ELDORADO — An Eldorado teen has been named a national finalist for a 2020 FFA award.
Ely Boulds has been named a finalist for the American Star in Agribusiness. Boulds is one of four finalists from across the United States for the award.
According to the FFA, the American Star Awards represents the best of the best among thousands of American FFA Degree recipients. The award recognizes FFA members who have developed outstanding agricultural skills and competencies through the completion of a supervised agricultural experience program.
A panel of judges will interview each finalist and select one winner from each category for the 93rd National FFA Convention & Expo to be held virtually this fall. The four winners will be announced at the convention.
