MCLEANSBORO — The McLeansboro City Council approved a pair of TIF reimbursements at their meeting Tuesday night.

The payments were approved to Karcher Automotive for about $675 and to Wuebbels Repair and Sales, LLC for about $4,550.

Also Tuesday, the council approved the purchase of a bucket and a liner for an electric department truck, sold a city tractor for $7,100, and approved a resolution supporting the grant application from Natalie Joseph’s from the downstate small business stabilization program.

The council also voted to pay the next installment of the new water tower for roughly $137,000. In a prepared report from the contractor, the council was informed that the new tower is about halfway complete.

The council’s next regularly scheduled meeting is set for Tuesday, August 11th at 6 p.m.
