MCLEANSBORO —The city hall discussion is back on the agenda for the McLeansboro City Council Tuesday night.
The council has discussed possibly renovating or building a new city hall on multiple occasions at previous meetings. The city had started engineering work for renovations to the current city hall but the work was scrapped when the council could not get a second to the motion to vote on moving forward with the rest of the work at their meeting in January.
In addition to possible work to city hall, the council will discuss the fiscal budget and possibly look to seek bids for the purchase of a 2001 Case International Tractor.
Tuesday night’s meeting will be held at the Hamilton County Courthouse starting at 6 p.m. with a public hearing at 5:45 regarding a grant application for Natalie Joseph’s for the downstate small business stabilization program.
