MARION COUNTY — Bail has been set at $10,000 for 42-year-old Charles Anderson of Centralia accused of robbing a man April 22nd while on a Centralia street.

Reports say Anderson was approaching the man walking on North Poplar Street and after an initial interaction, Anderson allegedly struck him in the back of the head with an unknown object and stole $350 from the victim.

Police arrested Anderson Thursday and he is next due to appear in Marion County Court on August 4th for a preliminary hearing and first appearance with his court appointed attorney.
