She was born April 22, 1928 in Dahlgren, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Leathel (Irwin) Lowry.  Betty was a retired payroll clerk having worked for the Gunite Foundry in Rockford, IL.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Neta Grant of Belle Rive, IL; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by two daughters Reta Ramsey and DeAnne Whitmer.
