Ruth Ella Heiderscheit, 93, of DuQuoin, Illinois, passed away at 9:10 pm April 16, 2020 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born December 8, 1926 in Dexter, Missouri to the late Robert Ray and Tena Gladys (Phillips) Robling. Ruth married G.C. “Pete” Heiderscheit on January 25, 1959 in Mount Vernon. He preceded her in death on November 30, 1979.

A private service will be held. Inurnment will be held at Bethel Memorial Cemetery in Mount Vernon, IL. Memorials may be made in Ruth’s honor to Valier First Baptist Church.
