Jerry Irvin Case, 72, of Bluford, Illinois,went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 20, 1947 in Mount Vernon, Illinois, the son of Maxey and Louisa (Sallee) Case. He married Janet Lynn Greene on April 20, 1973 in Bluford. They were blessed with 46 wonderful years of marriage.

A Visitation will be held Friday, February 7, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon with Reverend Short Sledge officiating. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in rural Bluford. Members of the Mount Vernon American Legion Post 141 will conduct full military honors at the cemetery. Memorials may be made in Jerry’s honor to Oakdale Cemetery.
