Jack L. Kniffen, 64, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 9:41 A.M. December 5, 2019 at his residence. He was born November 8, 1955 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Irvin Lee and Mary (Wimberly) Kniffen.

A Greeting of Family and Friends will be held from Noon to 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. following the greeting of family and friends. Memorials may be made to the Jefferson County Animal Shelter.
