Kenneth Packard Bell, II, 78, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 10:39 P.M. December 5, 2019 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He was born September 3, 1941 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to the late Kenneth Packard Bell, Sr. and Ruth (Badgett) Bell.He married Teresa (Puntney) Bell on August 27, 1966 at Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois. They were blessed with 53 years of marriage.
A Greeting of family and friends will be held 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, December 9, 2019 at Newell Funeral Home 601 South 42nd Street in Mount Vernon, Illinois. At 7:30 P.M. Monday, December 9, 2019 a Vigil Service will be held. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Father John Iffert officiating. Interment will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
