SOUTHERN ILLINOIS — Halloween is Thursday and trick or treating will be happening across the area.

The following communities will do trick or treating from 5 to 8 p.m.: Benton, Carbondale, Carterville, Herrin, Marion, West City and West Frankfort. Trail of Treats in West Frankfort will run from 3 to 5 p.m.

Du Quoin, Muphysboro, Pinckneyville, Royalton, Sesser, Valier and Zeigler will trick or treat from 6 to 9 p.m. Thompsonville will trick or treat on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Christopher has moved their trick-or-treat day to Friday, November 1st but it will still be from 6-8pm.

Trick or treating in McLeansboro will run from 6 to 8 p.m. You can trick or treat in Harrisburg from 5 to 7 p.m. Mt. Vernon will trick or treat from 6 to 8 p.m.

Carmi will do trick or treating Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Trunk or Treat in Carmi will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. behind City Hall.
