MT. VERNON — On Thursday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

31-year-old Roosevelt Gaines of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Wednesday for possession of a controlled substance.

30-year-old Jamie Roberts of Mt. Vernon was arrested Wednesday for retail theft less than $300.

63-year-old William Morgan of Dyersburg, TN was arrested Wednesday for retail theft less than $300.

45-year-old Stacey Boyd of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Wednesday for retail theft less than $300.

43-year-old Angus McCallum of Woodlawn was arrested Wednesday for domestic battery and unlawful restraint.
