FRANKLIN COUNTY — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Forty-three-year-old Anthony Lee Melvin is a white male, standing 6’1” tall weighing 205 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

He is driving a stolen blue 2012 Hyundai Sante Fe with Illinois plates R-6-3, 2-0-6-3. The vehicle was reported stolen from Sesser Wednesday night, and Melvin eluded law enforcement after a pursuit that went through Franklin and Perry counties.

Once again, Melvin is considered armed and dangerous. You should not approach him.
