MT. VERNON — The Mt. Vernon Public Works Department will begin installing new pavement on Pace Avenue Wednesday, weather permitting.
The city will be putting in the new pavement between 11th Street and 9th Street. This section of roadway will be closed to all traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28th and Thursday, August 29th.
There will be no street parking allowed during this time. Residents will need to park their vehicles on adjacent side streets as they will not have access to their driveways during the roadwork.
