MT. VERNON — On Wednesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

44-year-old Craig Nelson of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for battery.

39-year-old Barrett Jones of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for domestic battery and resisting / obstructing a peace officer.

33-year-old Nicholas Parks of Christopher was arrested Tuesday on a bond forfeiture warrant.

25-year-old Christian Younger of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday on a probation violation.

56-year-old Michael Webber of Wayne City was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for retail theft less than $300.
