FRANKLIN COUNTY — Franklin County Sheriff David Bartoni says a man was arrested early Monday morning after the sheriff’s office was notified of a possible abduction.

According to the sheriff, the investigation revealed that a 26-year-old woman alleged that she and her 3-year-old daughter were abducted from their Evansville, Indiana home by her boyfriend, 30-year-old Quinton L. Jennings.

The victim was flown to an undisclosed hospital where she is recovering from her injuries. The victim’s 3-year-old daughter was not harmed.

Jennings is in the Franklin County Jail on charges of aggravated domestic battery and aggravated kidnapping. His bond has been set at $1 million.

The sheriff says the investigation continues and is being done by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Sesser Police, the Warrick County, Indiana Sheriff’s office, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Illinois Department of Natural Resources nd Illinois State Police.
