Norma Jean Shelton, 86, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 11:34 P.M. July 1, 2019 at SSM Health Good Samartitan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born October 6, 1932 in Jefferson County, Illinois to the late Homer Baldridge and Fair Gibson. She married Clyde Dale Shelton on June 4, 1950 in Jefferson County, Illinois. They were blessed with nearly fifty-three years of marriage before he preceded her in death on April 28, 2003.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019 from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens Chapel in Woodlawn, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Merle Fullerton officiating. Interment will follow.Memorials may be made to the Logan Street Baptist Church for Missions or Building Funds.
